Welcome to the Norwegian capital, Scandinavia's oldest. The name Oslo, a contraction of Às and Lo, means 'Fields of God'. Until 1924, the city was known as Christiania. Founded in 1048 by Harald Hardråda, it now has a population of around 700,000.
The panoramic tour of the city will allow you to discover the main landmarks of the Norwegian capital, including the Royal Palace, the Opera House, which seems to float in the waters of the fjord, and the Akershus Fortress. After visiting the Holmenkollen ski jump site, you can take a walk through Frogner Park, which houses the sculptures of the local artist Gustav Vigeland.
It is possible to extend the guided bus tour for a full day.
