Days 1, 2 et 3
The 3 first days are dedicated to visiting the capital city of Norway : Oslo. The city has a lot to offer : the Opera district, Bygdøy's peninsula and its museums, the fortress of Akershus, the beautiful Rådhus (city hall), and multiple shops and restaurants in Aker Brygge and Karl Johans Gate.

Day 4
This day will take you from Oslo to Balestrand, a small town by the fjord. First, you will take the train to Myrdal, one of the most scenic train journeys in Europe. From Myrdal to Flåm, you will take the Flåmsbana, Norway's steepest train.
In Flåm, you will discover the mighty Aurlandsfjord, where you will take the ferry to Balestrand.

Day 5
On the 5th day, relax, go on a walk by the Sognefjord, or visit a home-made cider factory. You can even visit a small museum that recounts the history of tourism in this area. The choice is yours.

Day 6
This day on the water will take you from Balestrand to Bergen, Norway's second biggest city. You will sail on the Sognefjord aboard a ferry and keep on discovering the beauty of Europe's longest fjord. Enjoy the rest of the day to start exploring Bergen.

Day 7
Bergen used to be part of the Hanseatic League. There you will find many wonders such as the district of Brygge, the stave church of Urnes, the fish market, along with many shops and restaurants. You can even take a peek to the whole city and harbour from the heights by taking the Fløibanen, Bergen's funicular railway.

Day 8
All good things come to an end. After leaving your hotel, head to Bergen Airport. From the plane, take a last look at Norway from the sky if the weather enables you to.
