Adventure in the fjords and Lofoten

Arrive in Norway at Evenes airport, collect your hire car and check into your hotel.

Head to the Vesterålen Islands for a whale-watching safari. You will embark in Andenes after visiting the whale centre.

You leave Andenes on the panoramic road that runs along the coast. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop off throughout the day: a walk on the beach, a visit to a village or a museum.

You'll need to take the Melbu-Fiskebøl ferry, then get back on the road to Reine.

You'll use this day to explore the southern tip of the archipelago and its fishing villages, in particular the village of Å.

You take the road towards Hennigsvær. There are various stops along the way, including the Lofotr Museum in Bøstad, Gimsøy Church and the Slettheia hike.

Take advantage of these two days to explore the surrounding area, go hiking or take a stroll along the coast. There are also many small museums to visit in this part of Norway.

Day 6: Dinner at Børsen Spiseri, a typical restaurant using local produce

You take the road between Hennigsvær and Evenes again, but in the opposite direction.

You return your vehicle and board a plane bound for Bergen.

On arrival at the airport of the country's second-largest city, you collect your second hire car and head for Norheimsund.

On this free day, we recommend you visit Steinsdalfossen waterfall, then head for the village of Tørvikbygd, from where you can cross the Hardangerfjord by ferry. From here, there are plenty of hiking opportunities.

On this day, you leave the Hardangerfjord for the Sognefjord. Once in Gudvangen, you can opt for a cruise on the Nærøyfjord and Aurlandsfjord to Flåm, or drive to Flåm to visit the village of Undredal.

From Flåm, continue to Jostedal.

You can start your day with a visit to an exhibition on glaciers at the Breheimsenter centre. This is where you'll meet the boat to take you to the Austdalsbreen glacier.

Once disembarked, you'll enjoy an unforgettable walk on the glacier, before taking the boat back to Breheimsenter.

Enjoy a free day in the Jostedal National Park.

Its varied landscapes allow you to explore it through various activities such as hiking, cycling or rafting.

Travel along the fjords to the Hanseatic city, passing through the villages of Sogndal, Balestrand, Dragsvik, Vangsnes and Voss.
