Hiking in Lofoten

Activity
Must-sees in Lofoten

The Lofoten Islands are a hiker's paradise in Norway. The peaks of these islands can sometimes rise to over 1,000 meters in altitude and seem to plunge directly into the ocean.

The island of Værøy, located to the south of the Lofoten Islands, allows you to hike at your own pace and level. The Særlandshagen bay is a must-see, as well as the peaks of Nordlandsnupen and Hàheia.

Try hiking from Kvalvika to Ryten, a very popular trail in the Lofoten Islands. Starting from Fredvang, it will take you about 4 hours to reach the 550m high summit of Ryten. The view of the sea and the beach from the heights is breathtaking.

Don’t miss the hikes offered by the Vesterålen archipelago or the island of Senja, located to the north of the Lofoten Islands.
